Registered Care Manager – Hereford

Extraordinary Care. Extraordinary Culture. Extraordinary Careers.

Earn up to £47,800 in year one | Up to £42,000 base salary + £4,800 bonus potential + £1,000 guaranteed in year one

Helping Hands was built on kindness and it still guides everything we do today. We’re a purpose-driven team helping people live well in the homes and communities they love. Join us, and you’ll be part of a supportive, ambitious team where your work truly matters, and you can grow a career that counts.

About the Role

As a Registered Care Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of exceptional care within your local community. You’ll guide and inspire your team, uphold the highest quality standards, and make sure every customer receives safe, personalised support they can rely on. It’s a role with real influence, shaping services, strengthening relationships, and helping your branch grow with heart and confidence.

Our Hereford branch is one of our newer Helping Hands locations. The doors are open and the foundations are in place, but the branch is still very much in its growth phase – making this a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to genuinely build and shape a service.

We’re looking for a manager with a new business mindset who is excited by the opportunity to grow a branch rather than simply inherit an established operation. You’ll be visible within the Hereford community, building relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, community groups and other referral partners to raise awareness of Helping Hands and develop a strong pipeline of new customers.

At the same time, you’ll recruit, develop and grow your care team alongside the customer base, creating the culture and capability the branch needs as it scales. You’ll have the backing of an established national organisation and our central support functions, but plenty of opportunity to put your own stamp on the branch and its future.

We’re happy to consider experienced managers from both domiciliary care and other care settings. What’s most important is that you’re a strong, hands-on leader who understands quality care and is comfortable with the commercial and community-facing side of growing a service. You’ll need the confidence to get out into the local area, create opportunities, build relationships and turn those relationships into sustainable growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
