We are looking for a Registered Care Manager to lead our day service and day opportunity programme at Sense Hub Belfast. This is a newly registered service in the heart of the city, supporting people with sensory loss and learning disabilities to build skills, connect with their community and live full lives through sport, the arts and everyday opportunities. This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30, with a salary of £34,671 per annum.
A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle are essential for this role. You will also hold, or be willing to work towards, the QCF Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adult Management Pathway), with a completion date to be discussed at interview.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in health and social care, with a minimum of four years' practice experience working with one or more of the groups we support
- Confident supervising and line managing team members in line with policy and legislation in the care sector
- An effective communicator with stakeholders, commissioners and the people we support
- Committed to delivering person-centred support that puts individual outcomes first
This role might include:
- Leading and line managing a team of support staff, including rotas and annual leave
- Delivering a high-quality, person-centred service for people with sensory loss and learning disabilities
- Identifying individual needs and outcomes, and building support plans around them
- Supporting people to develop skills and take part in their community
- Ensuring the service meets or exceeds legal, regulatory and organisational standards
