Looking for Registered Children’s Home Manager!

Excellent opportunity to join an established and reputable company!

Salary: £55,000 per year plus benefits

We are an established provider with a strong therapeutic ethos. We pride ourselves on providing safe, consistent, warm and homely therapeutic environments and place a strong emphasis on genuine relationship-based work. Supporting children with emotional behavioral difficulties.

As a Registered Children's Home Manager, you will be supporting to manage a home that is making a huge difference to the lives of vulnerable children and young people - in a role that is both challenging and immensely rewarding.

The role includes:

  • Manage the day to day running of the home to an outstanding standard
  • Leading a team of talented carers and support staff to help provide outstanding care to the children and young people with a range of complex needs and emotional behavioral difficulties
  • Meeting and exceeding all regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring the care team is providing high quality, integrated therapeutic care and education for the children and young people living with us; creating and sustaining a therapeutic and stable atmosphere that they can call home
  • Working closely with the Service Manager to meet the organisation's aims and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Are you an experienced strong Registered Manager looking for your next challenge with experience in residential care
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager within Residential Childcare - ready for a new challenge! Will consider strong deputy
  • On call - rota basis
  • Development opportunities

The role requires:

  • Experience working with children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties and complex needs, residential experience preferred
  • 2 years’ experience as a Registered Children's Home Manager within Residential Childcare
  • Flexibility to work on evenings/ weekends to meet the needs of the home / Sleep ad hoc shifts
  • Full driving licence with access to own transport
  • Level 4 or 5 Diploma/NVQ in Leadership and Management or Registered Manager Award - required
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Flexibility to work on evenings/ weekends to meet the needs of the home.
  • A can do attitude and positive outlook
  • Ability to manage behaviours with a calm and supportive approach
  • IT literate
  • Flexibility
  • Commitment to delivering outcomes for children
