Children's Residential Home Stafford ST18 Full Time | £55,000 + Performance Bonus

Are you an experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in your career?
We are seeking a passionate, child-centred Registered Manager to lead our established children's residential home in Staffordshire. Our home is proud to hold a Good Ofsted rating, reflecting the commitment of our team and the positive outcomes achieved for the young people in our care.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a well-established service, supported by an experienced senior leadership team that values quality care, professional development and positive outcomes for children and young people.
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where children can thrive, while leading and inspiring a dedicated staff team to deliver exceptional care.

What You'll Be Doing
- Providing strong, visible leadership and support to your team
- Maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
- Ensuring children receive high-quality, individualised care and support
- Developing positive relationships with families, social workers and partner agencies
- Managing staffing, rotas, budgets, supervision and performance management
- Promoting safeguarding and ensuring the welfare of young people remains at the heart of everything you do
- Leading on quality assurance and continuous service improvement
- Preparing for and successfully managing Ofsted inspections
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior position within children's residential care
- Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and safeguarding legislation
- Proven experience achieving positive outcomes with Ofsted
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable
- Experience supporting children with EBD and trauma-related needs
- Knowledge of therapeutic care models such as PACE or DDP
- Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager
