Are you a motivated Psychologist looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference within specialist neurological services while developing your skills in a supportive multidisciplinary environment? Join Elysium Healthcare as a Registered Psychologist in this unique split-site role, working across The Dean Neurological Centre and Stanley House to support people with complex neurological, cognitive and behavioural needs on their rehabilitation journey.

Role Overview:

This is a part-time role: 15 hours at The Dean and 7.5 hours at Stanley House, totaling 22.5 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary teams across both services.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based psychological care.
  • Help service users engage fully in their care pathways, contributing to positive outcomes and enhanced quality of life.
  • Provide psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions.
  • Share psychological knowledge, contribute to treatment planning, and deliver training and guidance to colleagues.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of both services by supporting new initiatives, innovative ways of working, and service improvement projects.
  • Work alongside internal teams and external agencies to help strengthen treatment pathways and ensure continuity of care for service users throughout their rehabilitation and recovery.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments based on complex data from various sources.
  • Formulate plans for formal psychological treatment and/or management of neuropsychological and mental health problems.
  • Implement a range of psychological interventions.
  • Develop and manage groupwork programs and innovative therapeutic approaches.
  • Ensure appropriate outcome measures are in place.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professional practice and ethics.

Requirements:

  • Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
  • BPS accredited and HCPC approved Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
  • Chartered Member of the BPS.
  • Enrolled on the BPS Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists or interest in working towards this with support.
  • Ability to demonstrate possession of clinical skills applicable to the assessment, formulation, and therapeutic intervention with people who have acquired brain injury/progressive neurological conditions.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Evidence of effective teamwork and leadership ability.
