Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum + £1,500 car allowance

Location: East Midlands

NonStop Consulting is working with an established Independent Fostering Agency to recruit an experienced Registered Fostering Manager to lead their service in the Nottinghamshire area.

This is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for an established fostering service while having the autonomy to lead the team, shape ways of working and support the continued growth of the agency.

The service currently supports around 40 children and 23 fostering households, with carers based locally across the region.

Key Responsibilities

As the Registered Fostering Manager, you will provide leadership to a team including 6 Social Workers, a Team Manager, Practice Manager, administrative staff and a Support Worker.

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of fostering practice, supporting and developing the team and ensuring the service continues to deliver positive outcomes for children and foster carers.

You will also play an important role in the continued development of the agency, with plans to grow the service by approximately 20 children, while maintaining quality and stability.

The role offers hybrid working; however, the organisation is looking for a visible manager who can lead by example and encourage a strong office-based team culture.

Requirements

  • Experience in working as a Registered Fostering Manager or as a Fostering Team Manager
  • Social Work England registration
  • Previous Independent Fostering Agency experience is highly desirable
  • Driving license
