Salary: £19.98 to £21.16 Hour (Salary based on Level 5 qualifications)
Overview Of The Role
Reporting to the Assistant Regional Director, the Home Manager’s role is to be responsible for the overall management and daily running of the home, in accordance with CQC standards and Company policies and procedures, with the end purpose of creating a safe, positive and happy environment for all residents. There is an opportunity to study a Level 5 in Care Leadership & Management - General Adult Social Care Diploma to become a qualified Registered Manager.
The position requires extensive knowledge, including supervisory experience from working in Adult Social Care. You will need to have a professional approach with the ability to organise and prioritise, and a good knowledge of relevant codes of practice and legislation.

Where will you work?
Hazeldene is made up of two adjacent properties on a quiet, residential street, two miles from the centre of Reading. One property provides support for up to six residents with learning disabilities, autism, and associated mental health conditions and complex needs, while the other is specifically designed to support up to four people with a similar profile who are preparing to move on to more independent living. Hazeldene, in an urban setting with excellent public transport links, is an ideal place for residents to build their self-confidence and independence skills, and to access a range of local educational, vocational, and leisure opportunities. Residents enjoy arts and crafts, music sessions, cycling, swimming, drama, trampolining, bowling, a weekly disco, and regular trips to the nearby Thames Valley Adventure Park.
