Registered Home Manager - Learning Disabilities

Location: Gwerthonor Road, Gilfach, Bargoed, CF81 8JR

Salary: £35,401 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 17:00pm

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Small home. Big opportunity to make a difference.

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead Springfield, our welcoming six-bed residential home supporting people with learning disabilities.

Springfield has an excellent reputation and a real homely feel. Being a smaller service means you’ll have the opportunity to genuinely know the people you support, work closely with your team and have a real influence on everyday life within the home.

We’re looking for someone who knows learning disability services, can confidently lead a team and understands what it takes to run a safe, compliant and well-led home while always keeping the people we support at the heart of it.

The Manager We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a manager who is visible, approachable and involved.

Someone who takes the time to know the people they support, builds positive relationships with families and professionals and creates a team culture where people feel supported to do their best work.

You’ll be confident managing the operational and regulatory responsibilities of the home, while remaining connected to everyday life at Springfield.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
