About
We are working with a growing independent children's health service providing assessment and support for children and young people, with plans to extend the scope to include adults. They specialise in neurodevelopmental care, including autism and ADHD pathways, working closely with families, schools and other professionals to make sure every child gets the understanding and support they need.
It’s a relatively small multidisciplinary team that is growing and is built around high standards of care and a genuinely supportive way of working.
The role
We're looking for a Registered Manager to take on the CQC-registered responsibility for the service, ideally leading both the clinical quality and day-to-day management of the practice. Although we are open to just considering operational profiles.
This is a pivotal role: you'll be the named point of contact for the CQC, and the person who makes sure our whole team — clinical and administrative — is supported to do their best work.

What you'll be doing
- Acting as the named registered manager with the CQC and the main contact for inspections
- Ensuring the practice meets CQC fundamental standards and Health and Social Care Act regulations
- Submitting statutory notifications (serious incidents, safeguarding allegations, deaths, etc.)
- Providing clinical oversight of assessments, diagnoses and plans, including neurodevelopmental and autism pathways
- Reviewing the quality of clinical reports and outcomes
- Leading clinical governance: policies, audits, risk assessments and learning from incidents
- Acting as, or overseeing, the safeguarding lead
- Managing complaints, feedback and duty of candour requirements
- Leading, supervising and supporting clinical and admin staff, including nurses, coordinators and administrators
- Overseeing recruitment checks, induction, training and appraisal
- Making sure staff work within their competence and keep mandatory training current
- Working on rotas, clinic capacity and service development
- Liaising with schools, GPs, CAMHS and local authorities as needed
- Making sure every family has a supportive, respectful and safe experience with us

What we're looking for
- Significant experience working with neurodivergent customers (autism ADHD) or related fields
- Experience in neurodevelopmental assessment (autism, ADHD)
- Experience of clinical governance and leading or supervising a team
- Good knowledge of CQC regulation and the fundamental standards
- Up-to-date safeguarding training (children, appropriate level) and willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- NVQ Level 5 (or Level 3 and working towards Level 5)
