Registered Manager - Domiciliary Care

Location: York
Salary: £44,000 + Benefits
Hours: Full-time, Permanent | 37.5 hours + On-Call

Lead the Launch of a Brand-New Domiciliary Care Service

Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for the opportunity to build and shape a new service from the ground up?

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and ambitious domiciliary care provider that is expanding into Yorkshire and launching a brand-new service in the York area.

The organisation brings vast experience within domiciliary care, including successfully opening and developing services in new geographical areas. They have established strong working relationships with local authorities throughout the Northumberland area and are now bringing that experience, infrastructure, and proven approach to York.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care professional to play a pivotal role in establishing the new service, developing relationships locally, and building a high-quality operation with genuine potential for growth.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will take ownership of the development and day-to-day management of the York service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the launch, development, and growth of the new service
  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC requirements
  • Recruiting, developing, and leading a high-quality care team
  • Overseeing care planning, safeguarding, audits, and quality assurance
  • Building strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, healthcare professionals, and referral partners
  • Managing staffing, rotas, resources, and on-call arrangements
  • Driving continuous improvement and maintaining excellent standards of person-centred care
  • Supporting business development and identifying opportunities to grow the service across the local area

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
