Role: OFSTED Registered Children’s Home Manager

Location: Kettering

Salary: Up to £60,000 + bonuses

Hours: Full-time

Essential Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years as a Registered Manager in children’s care with at least a 'GOOD' OFSTED rating.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
  • Knowledge: Expertise in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and childcare legislation.
  • Licence: Full UK driving licence.

The Role & Responsibilities

Heart and Home Living seeks a calm, empathetic leader for a trauma-informed home supporting young people with complex EBD.

  • Lead & Mentor: Oversee daily operations and inspire a dedicated care team.
  • Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to OFSTED standards and statutory regulations.
  • Care Planning: Develop and deliver personalized plans focused on child safety, healing, and development.
  • Crisis Management: Model positive behaviors, maintain professional boundaries, and navigate challenges calmly.
