Registered Manager – Chester Road

An exciting opportunity to join an established, successful service

We are looking for a passionate and supportive Registered Manager to join Chester Road, a well-established, person-centred service with a strong and experienced team.

Chester Road is in a really positive place. Following a recent inspection, the service achieved two Excellent and two Good ratings from Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW), recognising the quality of support, leadership and positive outcomes being achieved.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a service with strong foundations already in place. Rather than starting from scratch, you'll be able to build on the great work of an established team while bringing your own ideas, experience and leadership style.

About the Role

As Registered Manager, you'll work alongside a knowledgeable and committed team to ensure people continue to receive high-quality, person-centred support.

You'll have the opportunity to get to know the service, the people we support, their families and the team, building on what already works well and helping to shape the service's next chapter.

You'll also be supported by an experienced senior leadership team, with guidance available as you settle into the role and develop your knowledge of the service.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing positive, approachable leadership to an established team.
  • Building on the high standards already recognised by CIW.
  • Supporting the team to continue progressing towards NAS Accreditation, with an established Quality Action Group and specialist support already in place.
  • Keeping quality, compliance and person-centred support at the heart of the service.
  • Coaching and developing staff, recognising their strengths and encouraging new ideas.
  • Working closely with the people we support, families and other professionals.
  • Supporting the continued development of communication, choice, independence and meaningful outcomes for the people who live at Chester Road.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the service, with support from the wider management team when needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
