Role Description
The Registered Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sudbury, responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service. This includes managing care teams, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

The role involves:

- Supervising care planning
- Conducting risk assessments
- Monitoring safeguarding practices to protect clients’ wellbeing
- Overseeing staff recruitment, induction, training, and performance
- Fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture
- Managing budgets
- Coordinating scheduling
- Maintaining accurate records
- Building strong relationships with clients, families, external professionals, and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in managing domiciliary or home care services, with strong leadership and team management skills.
- Solid understanding of care regulations, safeguarding, quality standards, and best practices in person-centred care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities, including managing schedules, records, and service delivery priorities.
- Relevant care management qualification (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent) or willingness to work towards it.
- Experience with dementia care and complex care needs is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in basic IT systems for care planning, reporting, and compliance documentation.
