A bit about the role
As Registered Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a children's home shaping it from the very start. You'll build your own team, establish the culture and practice from day one, and create a safe, consistent home where our young person can feel valued, supported and able to thrive.
Working closely with Nottinghamshire County Council and CAMHS, you'll play a key role in helping a young person build resilience, develop positive relationships, engage in education and make safe choices.
As part of our collaborative partnership with CAMHS, you will receive regular clinical supervision and dedicated ongoing support, helping you to deliver the highest quality care and achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
'This is not a children’s home, but a home that belongs to its children'

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
