CJP Outreach Services are a care and support provider that is growing rapidly and a robust organisation that delivers outreach and supported living care for people with complex care and support requirements. We ensure that the person we care for is at the centre of everything we do, and we ensure our colleagues are well supported, appreciated, and invested in.

About the Role

We are excited to be developing a new service in Somerset, based in Taunton, and are seeking an experienced and driven CQC Registered Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the development and management of our Somerset services.

This is a brand new post and provides a unique opportunity for the right candidate to play a key role in establishing and developing our new Somerset service, whilst providing oversight and leadership to packages and services that currently fall within the Somerset area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in establishing and developing our new Somerset service
  • Provide oversight and leadership to packages and services within the Somerset area
  • Work closely with our Commissioning Team to support the continued growth of our services across Somerset
  • Support the development, mobilisation, and integration of new packages
  • Ensure new referrals are assessed appropriately
  • Ensure the right staffing, training, systems, and support are in place to provide a safe and effective service from the outset
  • Motivate and develop the staff team to deliver the highest quality care and support
  • Promote Positive Behaviour Support and empower People We Support to live meaningful and fulfilled lives
  • Oversee the recruitment, induction, training, supervision, and performance management of staff members
  • Provide leadership and guidance around complex needs
  • Maintain strong and professional relationships with commissioners, social services, health professionals, families, and other stakeholders
  • Work closely with the wider CJP Outreach Services management team, including our Commissioning Team to ensure that our Somerset services have strong governance systems and that new and existing packages are delivered to the highest standard

  • Registered Manager with extensive experience of supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and complex needs, including behaviours that may challenge
  • Strong understanding of CQC requirements
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Dynamic, forward-thinking, supportive, and detail-oriented

About You

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of CQC requirements and will be responsible for ensuring that the service operates to the highest standards of care, quality, compliance, and governance. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager who wants to be part of the development of a growing service and have the autonomy to build, develop, and grow the Somerset operation responsibly, whilst maintaining a strong focus on quality and positive outcomes for the People We Support.
