Role Description
The Registered Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sunderland, responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the service. This position oversees service delivery, ensuring that all care and alternative medicine offerings meet regulatory standards, company policies, and best practice guidelines.

The Registered Manager will liaise with external stakeholders, manage budgets and resources, support staff training and development, and respond to client feedback and concerns. This role requires a proactive approach to service improvement and a focus on creating a supportive, person-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within health, social care, or a related setting, with responsibility for service delivery and staff oversight.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills, including the ability to motivate teams, conduct appraisals, and address performance or conduct issues constructively.
- Knowledge of relevant health and social care regulations, safeguarding practices, and quality standards, with the ability to ensure compliance and accurate record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, colleagues, families, and external professionals, including the ability to manage sensitive conversations.
- Sound organizational and time-management skills, with experience in scheduling, prioritizing tasks, and managing resources and budgets effectively.
- Competence in using digital tools and office software for reporting, care records, data protection compliance, and general administration.
- A relevant professional qualification in health, social care, management, or a closely related field; registration with the appropriate regulatory body where required.
- Commitment to person-centered care, continuous professional development, and promoting an inclusive, non-discriminatory culture within the service.
