Role Description
The Registered Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in York, responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of a residential care service. This role involves overseeing care delivery to ensure it is person-centered, safe, and compliant with regulatory standards, while maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction and well-being. The Registered Manager will lead and support care teams, manage staffing rotas, supervise and appraise team members, and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

- Managing care plans
- Monitoring quality and safeguarding practices
- Liaising with families and external professionals
- Ensuring accurate documentation and reporting
The role also includes contributing to service development and driving continuous improvement aligned with CFP Care Limited’s values.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in managing residential or dementia care services, with strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to oversee person-centered care planning, risk assessment, and safeguarding procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging residents, families, staff, and external professionals.
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and quality standards relevant to social care (e.g., CQC requirements).
- Competence in service administration, including report writing, record-keeping, and basic financial and resource management.
- Relevant health and social care qualification (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent) or commitment to achieve it.
- Previous experience in dementia care or supporting individuals with complex needs is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work flexibly, respond calmly to emergencies, and promote an inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment.
