Package Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our CQC-registered Learning Disability respite service in Beckton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take full operational ownership of a well-established service, driving high standards of care and supporting a dedicated team to deliver safe, person-centred, and high-quality support. Working closely with the London Learning Disability Locality Manager, you will play a key role in shaping service delivery and ensuring positive outcomes for the people we support.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

  • Delivering Outstanding Care: Ensuring individuals receive personalised support that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion, with care plans that reflect their evolving needs.
  • Driving Quality & Compliance: Overseeing CQC registration and ensuring the 5 & 7 Horse Leaze service meets all regulatory and statutory requirements, maintaining safe, effective, and well-led services at all times.
  • Leading & Developing Teams: Providing day-to-day leadership to the staff team, ensuring effective management, clear direction, and ongoing support to maintain high standards of care and support delivery.
  • Ensuring Accountability: Managing safeguarding concerns, incidents, and complaints, while working closely with the Locality Manager to drive continuous improvement and ensure ongoing compliance across the service.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a respite service, ideally within the Learning Disability sector.
  • Strong understanding of the adult social care sector and relevant regulatory frameworks, including CQC requirements.
  • Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to effectively oversee a service and staff team.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
  • A flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of the service.
  • A minimum of 12 months remaining on your Right to work in the UK.
