Registered Manager New Residential Mental Health Service
Location: Manchester
Salary: £43,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
An Exciting Opportunity to Lead a Brand-New Service
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our brand-new 14-bed residential mental health service in Manchester opening soon.
The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care that is safe, effective, and compliant with all regulatory requirements.
You will lead and inspire your team, promote a positive culture, and ensure that every individual receives compassionate, person-centred support that enables them to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful opening and ongoing management of a new 14-bed residential mental health service.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and all relevant legislation.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a skilled and motivated staff team.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Drive continuous quality improvement and achieve positive outcomes for people using the service.
- Build strong relationships with commissioners, healthcare professionals, families, and external stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, inclusion, and recovery-focused care.

About You
You will be an experienced leader with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding mental health care.
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a mental health or residential care setting.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to delivering person-centred, recovery-focused care.
- The ability to lead a new service with enthusiasm, resilience, and professionalism.
