Registered Manager
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead and manage our care service, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance and support for the people we serve.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, leading a team of care professionals and ensuring the service consistently meets regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the care service.
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered consistently.
- Manage, support and develop care staff.
- Oversee recruitment, induction, training and staff performance.
- Ensure care plans and risk assessments are accurate, up to date and regularly reviewed.
- Monitor safeguarding and ensure concerns are managed appropriately.
- Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare the service for inspections and work with regulatory bodies when required.
- Monitor quality through audits, reviews, feedback and performance monitoring.
- Manage complaints, incidents and investigations effectively.
- Build positive relationships with service users, families, professionals and external stakeholders.
- Monitor staffing levels, rotas and overall service performance.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience managing a health or social care service.
- Has strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Understands CQC regulations and the requirements of a high-quality care service.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Can confidently manage challenging situations and make sound decisions.
- Is passionate about delivering person-centred care.
- Is committed to continuous improvement and maintaining high standards.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a Registered Manager or senior management position within health and social care.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards.
- Relevant care qualification, such as Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or willingness to work towards it.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance.
- Right to work in the UK.
