Registered Manager – Children's Home
Location: South Shields, Tyne and Wear
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Pro Social Partners are proud to be working in partnership with Three Bridges Care to recruit a Registered Manager for their children's home in South Shields.
This is an urgent appointment for a provider that wants an experienced, confident manager to take full ownership of the home, its team, and its Ofsted journey.
The Role
As Registered Manager, You Will
- Hold registration with Ofsted and take overall responsibility for the home's care, compliance, and quality standards.
- Lead, develop, and supervise the staff team, building a stable and child-centred culture.
- Ensure care planning, risk management, and safeguarding practice meet the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Manage admissions, matching, and transitions so that placements are right for the children.
- Work closely with placing authorities, schools, health partners, and families.
- Drive continuous improvement in preparation for Ofsted inspection.

About You
You will be an experienced residential childcare leader with:
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to complete it.
- Experience in children's residential care at Deputy or Registered Manager level.
- Strong knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted framework.
- A child-centred leadership style with the resilience to manage complexity and risk.
