The Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing residential care provider based in Stockport who are seeking an experienced and driven Registered Manager to lead one of their children's residential homes.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding outcomes for children and young people, and who has the skills and experience to lead a dedicated care team.

As Registered Manager, you will hold full responsibility for the day-to-day management and operational oversight of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained in line with Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Regulations 2015. You will lead, develop, and support your team, manage budgets, build relationships with placing authorities, and act as the responsible individual for all regulatory requirements.

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a management role within a children's residential setting, along with a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
  • A thorough understanding of Ofsted inspection frameworks and relevant legislation is essential.
  • You will be a confident, compassionate leader who puts the welfare of young people at the centre of everything you do.
