Registered Manager-Children's Residential Home

£55,000 - £70,000 DOE + Performance Bonus
Full Time | Matlock

Delphi Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a growing children's residential care provider.

Delphi Care Solutions is delighted to be supporting the recruitment of an experienced Registered Manager for a children's residential home.

This is an opportunity for a strong leader who wants more than responsibility for compliance and day-to-day operations. It is an opportunity to lead a home, develop a team, shape culture, and ensure children receive the stability, care, and support they deserve.

Our client is committed to providing safe, nurturing, and high-quality residential care for children and young people. They recognise that successful homes are built by strong leadership, consistent practice, effective safeguarding, and teams that genuinely understand the needs of the children in their care.

As Registered Manager, you will play a central role in driving standards, supporting staff, and ensuring children experience a home where they feel safe, valued, listened to, and supported to make progress.

The Opportunity

This role would suit either:

  • An experienced Registered Manager seeking a fresh challenge with a quality-focused provider, or
  • An ambitious Deputy Manager who meets the regulatory requirements and is ready to take the next step in their career.

You will have responsibility for the overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring it operates in line with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, safeguarding requirements, and the home's Statement of Purpose.

Working alongside senior leaders, you will have the autonomy to lead your service while receiving the support required to succeed.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Creating a Positive Home Environment

  • Developing a culture where children feel safe, respected, and supported.
  • Ensuring children receive individualised care that reflects their needs and circumstances.
  • Promoting positive relationships, stability, and meaningful experiences.
  • Ensuring children's wishes, feelings, and views influence daily practice and decision-making.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
