Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire
Salary: £52,000 - £60,000 DOE plus bonuses
Ofsted Registration Bonus: £3,000

Are you an experienced children's residential leader looking for the opportunity to build and shape a new service from the ground up?
We are recruiting a Registered Manager to lead a new 4-bed children's home supporting young people aged 13 to 17 with EBD, trauma, attachment-related needs and complex social and emotional needs.

- Lead the Ofsted registration and Fit Person process
- Recruit, develop and manage the residential care team
- Establish safeguarding and operational systems
- Manage referrals, admissions and placement planning
- Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
- Lead safeguarding and child protection practice
- Build relationships with Local Authorities and commissioners
- Drive high standards and positive Ofsted outcomes
Essential Requirements:
- Completed Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
- Minimum 3 years' experience within children's residential care in the last 5 years
- Minimum 1 year supervisory or management experience
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations
- Safeguarding and child protection experience
- Full UK driving licence
