Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home (EBD)

Walsall, West Midlands (WS1 4EE)
Up to £60,000 + £7,500 Welcome Bonus
Full-Time | Permanent | 37.5 Hours per Week

Are you an experienced Registered Manager or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in your career?
We are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to lead a well-established 4-bed Children's Residential Home, supporting young people aged 8-17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading and developing a dedicated residential care team
  • Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Quality Standards
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment
  • Driving positive outcomes through trauma-informed, child-centred care
  • Overseeing safeguarding, care planning, staffing, budgets, and quality assurance
  • Building strong relationships with local authorities, families, and partner agencies

What We're Looking For:

  • ✔ Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within children's residential care
  • ✔ Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and quality standards
  • ✔ Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
  • ✔ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete)
  • ✔ Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
