Registered Care Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Care Manager to join a provider of domiciliary care and supported living services delivering personalised care focused on independence, dignity, and quality of life.

As a Registered Care Manager, you will be leading the day-to-day operation, quality, compliance, and development of a CQC-regulated care service.

This full-time permanent role offers a salary range of £40,000 - £45,000 and benefits.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Managing the overall day-to-day running and quality of the care service.
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC requirements, relevant legislation, and organisational policies.
  • Leading and supporting care managers, supervisors, coordinators, and care staff.
  • Managing safeguarding matters, complaints, incidents, and investigations.
  • Conducting audits, quality checks, and service reviews to maintain high care standards.
  • Ensuring care plans, risk assessments, medication records, and other care documentation are properly maintained.
  • Monitoring staff performance, attendance, training, supervision, and appraisals.
  • Overseeing safe recruitment, staff induction, and ongoing development.
  • Monitoring staffing levels, operational performance, and the delivery of commissioned care.

What We Are Looking For

  • Background working as a Registered Manager within a CQC-regulated care service.
  • Solid knowledge of CQC requirements and health and social care legislation.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage care teams.
  • Experience handling safeguarding, complaints, incidents, and quality assurance.
  • Confidence in making decisions and managing challenging situations within a busy care service.
  • A genuine commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.
