Registered Manager (Designate) — New Children's Home, Luton

£63,000 base + bonuses (package up to £71,000) · Full-time · On-site, Luton

Havenwell House is a new three-bed children's home in Luton, and we're looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead our Ofsted registration and become our first Registered Manager.

This is a genuine ground-floor opportunity. You'll help shape the home from pre-registration through to opening — building the team, establishing the culture, and putting your own stamp on it rather than inheriting someone else's. If you've wanted to build a home the right way from the start, this is that role.

About the Home

  • Small, three beds — relationship-based, non-institutional care
  • Young people aged 11–16, mixed, with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)
  • Trauma-informed model with waking-night staffing
  • Currently pre-registration, with refurbishment underway

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
