Registered Manager – Home Care
Location: Glasgow West
Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 per annum
Exciting opportunity to launch and develop a brand-new home care service
The Role
Compass Associates are working with a well-established national home care provider to recruit a Registered Manager for the launch of a brand-new service across Glasgow West.
Rather than inheriting an established branch, you’ll have the opportunity to build the service from the ground up: recruiting your team, developing a local client base and shaping the culture and standards from day one.
Our client places a strong emphasis on supporting and retaining its care teams, alongside delivering quality visits and continuity of care for clients. You’ll have the autonomy to develop the service locally, backed by the infrastructure and experience of an established national provider.

The successful Registered Manager will be confident taking ownership, building and retaining a strong care team and developing relationships across the local community. As the service grows, you’ll ensure quality and culture remain at the heart of the operation while driving its commercial development.
This could suit an existing Registered Manager looking for greater autonomy, or an experienced home care leader with the skills and ambition to take ownership of a new service.
Requirements
- Management experience within domiciliary / home care
- Strong knowledge of Care Inspectorate requirements
- Experience recruiting, developing and retaining care teams
- Good understanding of quality, compliance and operational delivery
- Commercial awareness and confidence supporting service growth
- Ability to build relationships with clients, families and local stakeholders
- Relevant qualifications to meet SSSC registration requirements, or willingness to work towards these

Location
The Registered Manager role is commutable from: Glasgow, Paisley, Renfrew, Clydebank, Bearsden, Milngavie, Bishopbriggs, Erskine, Inchinnan, Johnstone, Linwood, Barrhead, Neilston, Newton Mearns, Giffnock, Clarkston, Rutherglen, Dumbarton, Alexandria, Balloch, Bowling and surrounding areas.
