Role Description
The Registered Manager role at TulipCare is a full-time, on-site position based in Ware. The Registered Manager oversees the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

- Leading and supporting staff
- Developing care plans
- Monitoring outcomes for children
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
- Liaising with external professionals and families
- Managing budgets and resources
- Implementing policies and procedures that promote the wellbeing, development, and empowerment of children
The Registered Manager is expected to foster a positive, child-centered culture and continuously improve service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing children’s residential or care services, with strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, safeguarding practices, and quality standards within children’s care settings.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities for working with children, families, and external partners.
- Capability in planning, organizing, and overseeing day-to-day operations, including record-keeping and reporting.
- Relevant professional qualification in social care, childcare, or a related field; registration with appropriate regulatory bodies as required.
- Commitment to child-centered practice, empowerment, and promoting positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Comfort with using basic IT systems and software for documentation, reporting, and communication.
