Registered Care Manager
An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Care Manager to join a specialist care provider delivering residential and supportive living accommodation for adults with autism, learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours that may challenge.
As a Registered Care Manager, you will be leading the day-to-day management of residential and supportive living services, ensuring high standards of care, compliance and staff performance.
This full-time role offers a minimum salary of £50,000 and benefits. The candidates without residential or supportive living experience may not be suitable for this role.
You will manage both services and should live within a commutable distance, but you will not need to visit both sites on the same day.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Managing the delivery of high-quality care and support across the services.
- Leading and supporting staff teams, including supervision, appraisals, training and development.
- Ensuring residents have effective, person-centred support plans, risk assessments and appropriate reviews.
- Monitoring residents progress and ensuring support is adapted to their changing needs.
- Promoting independence and helping residents develop life skills, manage their tenancies and engage with their communities.
- Managing referrals, assessments, risk management and service reviews.
- Monitoring service quality through audits, reviews, spot checks and corrective actions.
- Supporting the recruitment, induction and ongoing development of staff.
- Managing rotas, annual leave, staff meetings and workforce requirements.
- Managing resources and supporting the service to operate within agreed financial controls.

What we are looking for
- Previous experience of approx. 2 years as a Registered Care Manager with CQC registration.
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, dual diagnosis and complex needs.
- Good computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- A full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel between the service locations where required.
