Home Manager | Premium Elderly Nursing, Dementia & Residential Care Home

Staines, Surrey

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 per annum (DOE) + Up to £6,000 KPI Bonus

Are you an inspiring Home Manager who believes exceptional care starts with exceptional leadership?

  • Do you enjoy building engaged teams, improving quality and creating a culture where residents and colleagues flourish?
  • Would you like to join a family-owned provider where decisions are made for the benefit of residents - not shareholders - and where investment is continually made back into the homes?

If so, this could be one of the most rewarding Home Manager opportunities currently available in the Area.

Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with a highly respected, family-owned elderly care provider to recruit an experienced Home Manager for one of their established Nursing, Dementia and Residential Care Homes in Surrey.

This is far more than a replacement management appointment.

Following the departure of a long-standing Home Manager who dedicated several successful years to the group, the provider is seeking a visible, compassionate and commercially astute leader who can build upon strong foundations whilst leading the home into its next phase of success.

The home is a well-established, medium-sized service operating at 80% occupancy, with an impressive 75% private-funded resident base. It enjoys an excellent local reputation and offers genuine potential to further strengthen occupancy, enhance quality outcomes and continue delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Whilst the home is currently rated Requires Improvement following its 2024 CQC inspection, the provider has responded proactively. A highly experienced operational team is already embedded within the service, delivering a comprehensive improvement programme and providing the successful Home Manager with first-class support, governance and resources.

This is an organisation that believes outstanding care is achieved by investing in people. As a family-run business, profits are continually reinvested into the homes, providing excellent facilities, meaningful staff development, modern care systems and the operational support required for Home Managers to succeed. Decisions are made quickly, bureaucracy is kept to a minimum and senior leaders remain highly visible and accessible.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
