GVN CARE AND SUPPORT LTD
We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to help lead and manage our supported living and personal care service for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and associated support needs.
The Registered Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the care service and making sure high standards of safe, person-centred care are delivered.
Key responsibilities as the registered manager
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of supported living and personal care services.
- Ensure the service meets CQC requirements and maintains strong compliance.
- Oversee care plans, risk assessments, reviews and daily care records.
- Lead on safeguarding, safe care, medication processes and incident reporting.
- Recruit, train, supervise and support care staff.
- Manage staff rotas and make sure staffing levels are safe and suitable.
- Carry out audits, quality checks and service improvements.
- Work with service users, families, social workers, commissioners and other professionals.
- Promote independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing for the people we support.

Requirements
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care / Leadership and Management, or equivalent.
- Registered Nurse or qualified Social Worker background would also be suitable.
- Experience managing or leading a supported living, domiciliary care or adult social care service.
- A good understanding of CQC standards and adult social care regulations.
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities.
- Good leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, care planning, risk assessments and staff management.
