Registered Manager — Domiciliary Care | Buckingham Home Care Ltd

£50,000, rising towards £55,000 within 12 months (performance-based) · Full-time, permanent

This isn't a caretaker manager role.

Buckingham Home Care is entering a new chapter. A planned leadership transition, a renewed focus on quality, and a clear ambition to grow. We're looking for a Registered Manager who wants to help shape what comes next, not just keep the seat warm. If you're already comfortable where you are but quietly wondering what you could build with more autonomy and a direct line to the Director, read on.

The opportunity

You'll take on a service that needs a leader capable of doing two things at once: protecting and strengthening CQC compliance, and driving the commercial growth of the business. We don't see these as competing demands we see them as the same job. You'll have real influence over systems, culture and direction, direct access to the Director, and the scope to build and develop your own team.

About Buckingham Home Care

We're a CQC-regulated domiciliary care provider currently delivering approximately 600 hours of care per week, with an established local presence and existing commissioner relationships. We're investing in leadership, quality and growth together, with a clearly structured support and performance framework for whoever takes on this role.

You won't be doing this alone

Too many Registered Managers end up as compliance officers, schedulers, HR department, complaints handler and business developer all at once which is how good people burn out. That's not how this role is set up. You'll have a dedicated team managing rotas, compliance, service delivery and day-to-day admin, your job is lead the service and grow it with the help of the Director and without carrying every task in it yourself.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
