Role: Registered Mental Health Nurse (Band 5)

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse (Band 5) to join Rydon Ward 1 within Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. This is a pivotal role in supporting individuals with acute mental health needs, working within a recovery-focused service to help patients achieve stability and independence.

About Rydon Ward 1

Rydon Ward 1 accommodates 15 beds and provides specialist assessment and treatment for adults of working age who are experiencing acute mental health difficulties. Our dedicated team comprises experienced mental health doctors, nurses, and therapists who work closely with the Home Treatment Team to ensure seamless care and support. Primarily serving individuals from the Taunton area, Rydon Ward 1 offers a safe, therapeutic environment focused on recovery and wellbeing.

As a key member of our inpatient multi-disciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to adults experiencing severe mental health difficulties. You will play an active role in promoting recovery, independence, and social inclusion, while ensuring patient safety and dignity at all times.
