A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 staff Nurse to join the team at Amman Valley Hospital on Cysgod Y Cwm ward.
About the Ward
- Cysgod Y Cwm ward is a Rehabilitation and Palliative care ward.
- This is a 28 bedded unit focusing on rehabilitation of the elderly.
- The service is both GP and consultant led.
- Admissions are accepted from the community and both general hospitals within Carmarthenshire.
Job Details
This is a part-time post for 22.5 hours.
Main Duties of the Job
- The Registered Nurse is required to work with the Multi-disciplinary team in the rehabilitation environment to promote independence and support the discharge process.
- The candidate should be able to demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills to facilitate complex discharges.
- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
