Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based in Bromley. The Registered Nurse will provide high quality, person-centered care to residents in a private nursing home setting, including administering medications when needed as Senior carers will also be working alongside, monitoring health conditions. Most patients are Dementia and EOL. You will be responding promptly to changes in residents’ needs.

Daily responsibilities include:

- Carrying out clinical assessments
- Updating care plans
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Ensuring compliance with relevant clinical and safety standards
The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams, supporting care assistants, and communicating effectively with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals. The Registered Nurse will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, uphold infection control practices, and promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all residents and staff.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN/RGN/RMN) qualification and current registration with the appropriate nursing regulatory body.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in medication administration, wound care, health assessments, and management of long-term conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Experience working in private nursing homes, residential care, or similar healthcare settings is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards, safeguarding, infection control, and best practices in elderly and dementia care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and to provide guidance and support to care staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as required by the service.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and participation in training and quality improvement activities.
