About the Role
MedicsPro is recruiting experienced Registered General Nurses for regular Band 5 agency shifts in Newport, Wales.
Long-day shifts are available from 07:00 to 19:30, providing flexible opportunities for nurses seeking additional shifts or agency work around their existing commitments.
We are looking for NMC-registered nurses with recent NHS experience who can deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care in a busy clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and contribute to individualised care plans
- Administer medication safely and accurately
- Monitor observations and respond appropriately to clinical changes
- Complete clinical procedures within your verified competencies
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and colleagues
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
- Follow local policies, clinical procedures and professional standards
Essential Requirements
- Current NMC registration
- At least one year of recent NHS nursing experience
- Recent experience in a relevant clinical environment
- Completed and evidenced clinical competencies
- Ability to work the advertised shift pattern
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to complete MedicsPro and client-specific compliance requirements
