Contract: Full-Time, Part-Time & Bank Opportunities Available
Location: Multiple Kara Healthcare Homes Across Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, New Herrington and County Durham

The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring residents receive safe, effective, and person-centred care while supporting their wellbeing and quality of life.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering high-quality nursing care tailored to individual resident needs.
- Administering and managing medication safely and effectively.
- Assessing, monitoring, and responding to changing clinical needs.
- Developing, reviewing, and updating person-centred care plans.
- Working collaboratively with GPs, healthcare professionals, residents, and families.
- Supporting and mentoring care colleagues to promote best practice.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with NMC standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Promoting dignity, choice, independence, and wellbeing for every resident.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for nurses who are passionate about delivering excellent care and making a positive difference.
Essential Requirements:
- Current NMC registration as an RGN, RMN, or RNLD.
- Ideally an RGN, however we will also consider RMN and RNLD Nurses who have experience working within elderly care, dementia care, and nursing home environments.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Desirable:
- Previous experience within nursing homes, elderly care, dementia care, or complex care settings.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and best practice standards.
- Experience supporting or mentoring care staff.
