About The Role

Are you a Registered Nurse with at least 12 months' experience and current AHPRA registration, looking for a rewarding casual opportunity where you can make a real difference in the lives of older people?

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a supportive and collaborative environment, values building meaningful relationships with residents, and is adaptable to a variety of shifts and care needs. Your passion for person-centred care will enable you to deliver professional, respectful, and high-quality nursing services while supporting the care team to provide safe, effective care that aligns with each resident's individual needs, goals, and preferences.

Working alongside a welcoming and experienced team, you will be supported by leaders who genuinely value your contribution, wellbeing, and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Care Coordinator with clinical documentation, care planning, and leadership of the care team
  • Leading and supporting new consumer admissions and care planning processes
  • Communicating effectively with families, allied health professionals, and other care partners
  • Fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment for residents and staff
  • Actively participating in quality improvement and risk management activities

What You Will Need

  • AHPRA Registration as Registered Nurse
  • Familiarity with Lee care is preferred; however, a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly is also acceptable
  • Able to keep things running smoothly, even during busy times.
  • Organised, motivated, and reliable, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Candidates may be required to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and must hold a current NDIS Worker Clearance. In line with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are strongly encouraged to be up to date with all recommended vaccinations.
