Registered Nurse (RMN / RNLD)

Care Home: Tees Grange

Location: Stockton-on-Tees

Contract type: Full time - 44 hours per week - Day and Night shifts (must be flexible)

Rate: £21.59 per hour

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a forward-thinking and growing provider, who’ll support you to be the best Nurse you can be! Join us as our new Registered Nurse at Tees Grange care home in Stockton-on-Tees.

Tees Grange provides exceptional nursing care for adults living with complex needs arising from dementia, mental health conditions, neuro-disabilities and physical disabilities.

Located on Norton Road in Stockton-on-Tees, Tees Grange has 30 bedrooms across three small, purpose-built units, creating a homely and supportive environment that’s more responsive to individual needs.

We’re dedicated to making every day better for the people we support, helping them lead meaningful lives and achieve their personal goals.

Our trained team provides high acuity, nurse-led care services, particularly for individuals with secondary diagnoses, co-morbidities or those who’ve experienced previous failed placements.

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse with us, you’ll be empowered to really make a difference.

Our high staffing levels, with an average of six Health Care Assistants to every Nurse, give you the time to provide truly person-centred nursing care, with a supportive team around you.

About Exemplar Health Care

Tees Grange is part of Exemplar Health Care, a leading provider of specialist nursing care for adults living with complex and high acuity needs.

Tees Grange opened in June 2023, this is an incredibly exciting time to join a brand new, growing team, and be a part of shaping the home in its first year.

We support adults living with complex mental health needs and neuro-disabilities, including Huntington's disease and Parkinson's disease.

About The Role

This is a highly skilled nursing role where you’ll be accountable and responsible for supporting people’s holistic needs. It requires a range of clinical and nursing skills.

You’ll provide the highest standards of nursing care for adults living with complex care and health needs. Our care focuses on maximising independence and building everyday living skills.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • assessing, planning and implementing care for the people we support
  • providing person-centred and evidence-based nursing care
  • developing collaborative needs-based care plans through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
  • safe administration of medication
  • promoting health and wellbeing
  • being the Nurse in Charge of a small unit whilst on shift
  • managing situations when people display behaviours which may challenge
  • promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect.

To apply for this role, you must have a first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN. We’re looking for Registered Mental Health and Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RMN / RNLD)
