Located in the charming seaside town of Dunbar, Lammermuir House Care Home offers a unique and inspiring place to work, with stunning views over the Firth of Forth. Just minutes from local shops, cafés, and public transport – and with easy access to the A1 – our home is ideally placed for both convenience and a peaceful coastal setting.
Lammermuir House provides high-quality care for up to 48 residents with nursing needs, within a purpose-built, modern facility.
Registered Nurse Contract
- £22.61 per hour
- Full Time
- Dayshift available
- Paid NMC, PVG pension and uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

- Working closely with the wider care team, you will be responsible for assessing needs, administering medication, monitoring physical and emotional wellbeing, and ensuring care plans are followed accurately and safely.
- Alongside providing hands-on nursing care, you will help guide colleagues throughout each shift, respond confidently to changing resident needs, and help maintain the high standards that allow the home to consistently deliver exceptional care.

What Matters Most
- Registered Nurse qualification with active NMC PIN is essential
- Previous nursing experience within a care home or healthcare environment is beneficial
- Strong clinical knowledge with confidence administering medication and supporting care planning
- Ability to make sound clinical decisions while responding effectively to changing needs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support residents, families, and colleagues professionally
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach with genuine commitment to delivering exceptional care
