About Our Role
Are you a compassionate, dedicated Registered Nurse seeking a part-time role where your expertise is valued and your work-life balance is respected? We are looking for someone to join our team in Rockhampton, delivering truly patient-centred care across morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. With a schedule of 70 hours per fortnight, you will enjoy regular hours and predictable routines, while making a real difference in our community. We offer a competitive rate of pay: $43.15 - $50.16 per hour, depending on experience + superannuation & shift allowances.
- 30 hours per fortnight | 2 permanent part-time roles available (AM/PM/Night duty)
- Availability required: Tuesday + Wednesday and Saturday + Sunday
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering high quality, compassionate nursing care to our residents
- Implementing care plans, monitoring health status, administering medications
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintaining clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, infection control standards
- Adapting to different shift periods (morning / afternoon / evening), ensuring continuity of care across handovers

About Us - Carinity - Shalom
Nestled beside a tranquil lagoon in North Rockhampton, Carinity Shalom has been part of the local community for more than 20 years, providing compassionate residential aged care in a peaceful, welcoming environment. Home to around 65 residents, Shalom offers permanent, dementia-specific, and respite care, supported by 24/7 Registered Nursing and visiting allied health professionals. Our beautiful gardens, walking trails, and lagoon-side gazebo create a homelike atmosphere where residents, families, and staff feel genuinely connected.
