About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated Registered Nurses, your focus will be to ensure the provision of high-quality care to our residents to meet their daily care needs by demonstrating professional and collaborative practice and providing supervision and direction to, ENs & PCAs whilst ensuring they are empowered to do as much as they can for themselves.
About you
- Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse, with relevant qualification and experience
- Experience assessing Aged Care Residents and formulating Care Plans
- Understanding and working knowledge of Commonwealth, State and / or Territory legislation and nursing practices.
- An understanding of and ability to ensure compliance with residential Aged Care Standards, AN-ACC requirements, Occupational Health and Safety, food safety and other professional legislative requirements
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees and volunteers
- Interpersonal skills, patience, common sense and a strong ethos of client service
- Strong initiative and ability to work without supervision and be self-motivated
- Proficiency utilising information technology, with well-developed computer skills including MS Office
- Ability to work a variety of days and shifts as a casual
