Registered Nurse
Bupa Wilmington Manor Care Home - Common Ln, Dartford DA2 7BA £18.41 - £21.48 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Flexibility: Ideal candidate needs to be flexible with days and nights
- Shift Pattern: 3x 12 Hour Shifts per week (36 Hours Contract)
- Training: We’ll train you on all aspects of digital care, making things easier and letting you focus on clinical excellence and care for our residents.
- Clinical Excellence: As a highly respected member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of our residents.
- Care Coordination: Taking responsibility for the well-being of our residents and making sure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Leadership: Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
- Assessment and Care Planning: Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our residents.
- Safety Monitoring: Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
Key Skills / Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
- Clinical Management: Managing the unit alongside clinical duties in the home, including oversight of care, administering and ordering medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team.
- Experience: Previous experience ensuring policies and standards are kept to a high clinical standard.
- Clinical Guidance: Confident in offering clinical guidance for care teams, crucial in helping with all CQC tasks.
- Communication: Effective communication and reporting skills essential for handover of clinical issues to other team members and healthcare professionals.
- Night Skills: Enhanced skills to ensure patient safety when working at night, primarily working alone with limited support from other healthcare professionals. Requires strong critical thinking skills, confidence, self-reliance, and the ability to manage care staff and remain calm in an emergency situation.
