Registered Nurse (Days)
Location: Bupa Tenterden House Care Home – Lye Ln, St Albans AL2 3TN
Salary: £20.40 – £22.54 per hour Contract: 4x 12-hour shifts per week (48 hours total) Additional Perks:

As healthcare experts for over 75 years, we prioritise continuous training in clinical and social care, equipping you with the skills to drive meaningful change. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring physical, emotional, and social well-being is met for residents
- Coaching and mentoring the team through formal and informal training
- Conducting assessments and developing individualised care plans
- Monitoring safety standards, ensuring work areas and practices align with policies and legislation
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the unit alongside clinical duties, including oversight of care, medication administration, and policy compliance.
- Provide clinical guidance to the care team and ensure best-practice standards.
- Develop working relationships with residents and their families, delivering compassionate, thoughtful care.
- Maintain strong communication to ensure effective handover of clinical issues and updates.
- Lead CQC requirements, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Operate independently during night shifts (if applicable), demonstrating critical thinking, resilience, and calmness under pressure.

Skills & Qualifications Required
- Valid NMC pin (UK Registered Nurse status)
- Demonstrated ability to uphold high clinical standards and enforce policies
- Experience providing clinical guidance to teams
- Excellent communication and team-working skills
- Strong critical thinking and crisis management abilities
