This is an exciting opportunity to join the Wards at Oxford Road Campus.

The Royal Eye Hospital is renowned as a centre of excellence for treatment for eye conditions, with high emphasis on research and audit. We are currently looking to recruit highly motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic, Band4 Nursing Associate to work along our dedicated team with progressive and innovative clinical area and support the work of the Private Patient Centre and NHS ward 55.

If you have experience or interest in ophthalmic nursing, have good communication skills and commitment to excellence in nursing care we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and clinical expertise
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of the issues relating to the identification, assessment, treatment, and management of this specialist client group

  • Highly effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse team of professionals

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to use their own initiative

Due to service expansion there will be a wealth of opportunities for the right candidates, a professional development programme will be implemented.

There will be a requirement to work across sites to support the Royal Eye Hospital to meet the needs of the services.
