If you are enthusiastic, well-motivated, with a flexible approach and you relish a challenge, then join our fast-paced, dynamic team in delivering excellent standards of care in the Colchester hospital discharge lounge.
We are looking for registered nurses with experience who can provide evidence of continuing professional development. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and clinical skills and have a positive approach to team working.
As a pivotal part of our team, you will be responsible for the provision of safe and effective harm-free care.
You will have the opportunity to develop a range of transferable skills to enable the provision of high-quality, patient-focused care in a fast-changing, supportive, and friendly environment.
Training will be provided, however, previous discharge lounge experience is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- To work as the named nurse and effectively manage the care of a group of patients.
- To work within the framework for Clinical Governance to provide effective, high-quality individualized nursing care to patients and relatives/carers and to contribute to the continuing development of nursing practice.
- To work within the Trust’s Competency Framework for Registered Nurses, the Ward/Department Philosophy, and the NMC Code of Conduct/Professional Standards for the Protection of Patients.
