Registered Nurse – Frailty Unit

We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Frailty Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist environment where you will play a vital role in supporting older patients, many of whom are living with complex health needs.

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life. You will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking comprehensive patient assessments
  • Developing and delivering individualized care plans
  • Administering medications
  • Ensuring continuity of care through close collaboration with colleagues and families

The Frailty Unit offers a fast-paced yet supportive environment where no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in frailty care, working alongside experienced nurses, doctors, therapists, and support staff who are all committed to delivering the highest standards of care.

Experience in elderly care or acute medicine would be an advantage, but we welcome applications from nurses with a passion for making a difference and a willingness to learn.

To deliver a high standard of nursing care to patients undergoing surgical or medical treatment. The post holders will be responsible for:

  • The assessment of patient care needs
  • The implementation and evaluation of the programme of care

The post holders are required to work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving a high standard of nursing care within South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.
