Job Summary: Decypher is seeking a qualified Family Nurse to support healthcare services for military members and their families at RAF Lakenheath under a U.S. federal contract. The position provides direct patient care within a military treatment facility setting.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation and obtain base access/security clearance as required
- Ability to relocate to and work on-site at RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk, UK by October 1, 2026

- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- License: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in family medicine, pediatrics, women's health, or primary care
- U.S. Citizenship is required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to active-duty service members, dependents, and other eligible beneficiaries across the lifespan.
- Conduct patient assessments, triage, and care coordination in an outpatient/family practice setting
- Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations per provider orders
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record (e.g., AHLTA/MHS Genesis or equivalent)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health staff as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain compliance with DoD, Air Force, and contract-specific clinical and administrative standards
- Participate in quality assurance, infection control, and patient safety initiatives

Work Environment & Schedule
- On-site clinical setting at RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk, UK
- Standard duty hours per contract requirements; flexibility for clinic scheduling needs
Physical requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while reviewing medical records and working on a computer. Frequent use of standard office equipment and use of clear verbal and written communication. Must have sufficient visual acuity and attention to detail to analyze complex clinical documentation, with occasional ability to move about the workplace and lift up to 10–15 pounds.
Compensation & Benefits: $44 to $50.00 per hour.
