About the Role:

Join a passionate and dedicated team making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, young people, and their families. The Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Service (PEDS) delivers coordinated, family-centred care to children and adolescents living with diabetes and a range of endocrine conditions across the ACT and surrounding region.

As the Paediatric Endocrine Nurse Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating complex care pathways in partnership with Paediatric Endocrinologists and the multidisciplinary team. You will provide expert clinical support, education, and advocacy for children and their families, guiding them through every stage of their healthcare journey.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to build strong therapeutic relationships with families, provide education and support in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and act as a key point of contact throughout treatment. You will also assist young people in their transition to adult services, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience. In addition, you will contribute to the development of nursing practice by providing education, mentorship, and specialist support to nursing staff and multidisciplinary colleagues.

Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, this position offers the opportunity to combine advanced clinical expertise, leadership, and care coordination in a dynamic and highly respected paediatric specialty service. Clinical leadership and support will be provided by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Paediatrics.
